ٱلْأَعْرَاف : ٥٥

  • ٱدۡعُواْ Call upon
  • رَبَّكُمۡ your Lord
  • تَضَرُّعٗا humbly
  • وَخُفۡيَةًۚ and privately
  • إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
  • لَا (does) not
  • يُحِبُّ love
  • ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ the transgressors
Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors.1
Footnotes
1 - In supplication or otherwise.
Call upon your Lord humbly (tadarru'an is a circumstantial qualifier), in subservience, and quietly, in secret. Truly, He loves not the aggressors, who are braggarts and loud-mouthed in [their] supplications.
