ٱلنِّسَاء : ١٦٢

  • لَّـٰكِنِ But
  • ٱلرَّـٰسِخُونَ the ones who are firm
  • فِي in
  • ٱلۡعِلۡمِ the knowledge
  • مِنۡهُمۡ among them
  • وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ and the believers
  • يُؤۡمِنُونَ believe
  • بِمَآ in what
  • أُنزِلَ (is) revealed
  • إِلَيۡكَ to you
  • وَمَآ and what
  • أُنزِلَ was revealed
  • مِن from
  • قَبۡلِكَۚ before you
  • وَٱلۡمُقِيمِينَ And the ones who establish
  • ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ the prayer
  • وَٱلۡمُؤۡتُونَ and the ones who give
  • ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah
  • وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ and the ones who believe
  • بِٱللَّهِ in Allah
  • وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ and the Day
  • ٱلۡأٓخِرِ the Last
  • أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ those
  • سَنُؤۡتِيهِمۡ We will give them
  • أَجۡرًا a reward
  • عَظِيمًا great
But those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and what was revealed before you. And the establishers of prayer [especially] and the givers of zakāh and the believers in Allāh and the Last Day - those We will give a great reward.
But those of them who are firmly rooted, established, in knowledge, like 'Abd Allaah ibn Salaam, and the believers, the Emigrants and the Helpers, believing in what has revealed to you, and what was revealed before you, of scriptures, and those who observe the prayer (wa'l-muqeemeena l-salaata is in the accusative because it is a laudative; it is also read in the nominative [wa'l-muqeemoona l-salaata]); and pay the alms, and those who believe in God and the Last Day - to them We shall surely give (nu'teehim, is also read yu'teehim, 'He shall surely give') a great wage, namely, the Paradise.
