طه : ١٣١

  • وَلَا And (do) not
  • تَمُدَّنَّ extend
  • عَيۡنَيۡكَ your eyes
  • إِلَىٰ towards
  • مَا what
  • مَتَّعۡنَا We have given for enjoyment
  • بِهِۦٓ [with it]
  • أَزۡوَٰجٗا pairs
  • مِّنۡهُمۡ of them
  • زَهۡرَةَ (the) splendor
  • ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life
  • ٱلدُّنۡيَا (of) the world
  • لِنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ that We may test them
  • فِيهِۚ in it
  • وَرِزۡقُ And (the) provision
  • رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord
  • خَيۡرٞ (is) better
  • وَأَبۡقَىٰ and more lasting
And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring.
And do not extend your glance toward what We have given to some pairs, [certain] categories, among them to enjoy, [as] the flower of the life of this world, its adornment and delight, that We may try them thereby, [to see] if they transgress [the bounds]. And your Lord's provision, in the Paradise, is better, than what they have been given in this world, and more enduring, longer lasting.
