Al-Mujadila: 2

Ayah

يُظَٰهِرُونَ

مِنكُم
among you
مِّن

نِّسَآئِهِم
(to) their wives
مَّا

هُنَّ
they
أُمَّهَٰتِهِمۡۖ
(are) their mothers
إِنۡ
Not
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡ
(are) their mothers
إِلَّا
except
ٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
those who
وَلَدۡنَهُمۡۚ
gave them birth
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
And indeed they
لَيَقُولُونَ
surely say
مُنكَرٗا
an evil
مِّنَ
[of]
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
[the] word
وَزُورٗاۚ
and a lie
وَإِنَّ
But indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَعَفُوٌّ
(is) surely Oft-Pardoning
غَفُورٞ
Oft-Forgiving

Translation

If any men among you divorce their wives by Zihar (calling them mothers), they cannot be their mothers: None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly Allah is one that blots out (sins), and forgives (again and again).
