ق : ٧

  • وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ And the earth
  • مَدَدۡنَٰهَا We have spread it out
  • وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا and cast
  • فِيهَا therein
  • رَوَٰسِيَ firmly set mountains
  • وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا and We made to grow
  • فِيهَا therein
  • مِن of
  • كُلِّ every
  • زَوۡجِ kind
  • بَهِيجٖ beautiful
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,
And the earth (wa'l-arda, is a supplement to the position of the words ilaa l-samaa'i, 'at the sky'), how, We have spread it out, [how] We have rolled it across the face of the water, and cast in it firm mountains, to fix it in place, and caused every delightful kind, [every delightful] specimen, causing delight by its [very] beauty, to grow in it,
