ٱلْأَعْرَاف : ٦٤

  • فَكَذَّبُوهُ But they denied him
  • فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ so We saved him
  • وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who
  • مَعَهُۥ (were) with him
  • فِي in
  • ٱلۡفُلۡكِ the ship
  • وَأَغۡرَقۡنَا And We drowned
  • ٱلَّذِينَ those who
  • كَذَّبُواْ denied
  • بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۚ Our Verses
  • إِنَّهُمۡ Indeed they
  • كَانُواْ were
  • قَوۡمًا a people
  • عَمِينَ blind
But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people.1
Footnotes
1 - For a more detailed account, see 11:25-48.
But they denied him, and so We delivered him and those with him, from drowning, in the Ark, [in] the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs, by means of the Flood. Truly they were a people blind, to the truth.
