آلِ عِمْرَان : ١٠١

  • وَكَيۡفَ And how (could)
  • تَكۡفُرُونَ you disbelieve
  • وَأَنتُمۡ while [you]
  • تُتۡلَىٰ is recited
  • عَلَيۡكُمۡ upon you
  • ءَايَٰتُ (the) Verses
  • ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah
  • وَفِيكُمۡ and among you
  • رَسُولُهُۥۗ (is) His Messenger
  • وَمَن And whoever
  • يَعۡتَصِم holds firmly
  • بِٱللَّهِ to Allah
  • فَقَدۡ then surely
  • هُدِيَ he is guided
  • إِلَىٰ to
  • صِرَٰطٖ a path
  • مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ straight
And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allāh and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allāh1 has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.
Footnotes
1 - i.e., adhering to His ordinances strictly, then trusting in Him and relying upon Him completely.
How can you disbelieve (this is an interrogative of amazement and rebuke) while you have God's verses recited to you, and His Messenger is in your midst? Whoever holds fast to, clings to, God, he is guided to a straight path.
