طه : ١١١

  • وَعَنَتِ And (will be) humbled
  • ٱلۡوُجُوهُ the faces
  • لِلۡحَيِّ before the Ever-Living
  • ٱلۡقَيُّومِۖ the Self-Subsisting
  • وَقَدۡ And verily
  • خَابَ will have failed
  • مَنۡ (he) who
  • حَمَلَ carried
  • ظُلۡمٗا wrongdoing
And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.1 And he will have failed who carries injustice.2

And faces shall be humbled, they shall be submissive, before the Living, the Eternal Sustainer, namely, God; and he will certainly have failed, he will have lost, [he] who carries [the burden of] evildoing, that is, [of] idolatry.
