Al-Hajj: 30

Ayah

Word by Word
ذَٰلِكَۖ
That
وَمَن
and whoever
يُعَظِّمۡ
honors
حُرُمَٰتِ
(the) sacred rites
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
فَهُوَ
then it
خَيۡرٞ
(is) best
لَّهُۥ
for him
عِندَ
near
رَبِّهِۦۗ
his Lord
وَأُحِلَّتۡ
And are made lawful
لَكُمُ
to you
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ
the cattle
إِلَّا
except
مَا
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
is recited
عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ
to you
فَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ
So avoid
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
the abomination
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡأَوۡثَٰنِ
the idols
وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ
and avoid
قَوۡلَ
(the) word
ٱلزُّورِ
false

Translation

Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,-
