قَالُواْ
They said
يَٰلُوطُ
O Lut
إِنَّا
Indeed, we
رُسُلُ
(are) messengers
رَبِّكَ
(of) your Lord
لَن
never
يَصِلُوٓاْ
they will reach
إِلَيۡكَۖ
you
فَأَسۡرِ
So travel
بِأَهۡلِكَ
with your family
بِقِطۡعٖ
in a part
مِّنَ
of
ٱلَّيۡلِ
the night
وَلَا
and (let) not
يَلۡتَفِتۡ
look back
مِنكُمۡ
anyone of you
أَحَدٌ
anyone of you
إِلَّا
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖ
your wife
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed, it
مُصِيبُهَا
will strike her
مَآ
what
أَصَابَهُمۡۚ
will strike them
إِنَّ
Indeed
مَوۡعِدَهُمُ
their appointed time
ٱلصُّبۡحُۚ
(is) morning
أَلَيۡسَ
Is not
ٱلصُّبۡحُ
the morning
بِقَرِيبٖ
near

Translation

(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"
