يس : ٧١

  • أَوَلَمۡ Do not
  • يَرَوۡاْ they see
  • أَنَّا that We
  • خَلَقۡنَا [We] created
  • لَهُم for them
  • مِّمَّا from what
  • عَمِلَتۡ have made
  • أَيۡدِينَآ Our hands
  • أَنۡعَٰمٗا cattle
  • فَهُمۡ then they
  • لَهَا [for them]
  • مَٰلِكُونَ (are the) owners
Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands1 have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?
Footnotes
1 - See footnote to 2:19.
Or, have they not seen, have they [not] realised (the interrogative is meant as an affirmative, and the waaw inserted therein [in a-wa-lam] is for supplementation) that We have created for them, and for all human beings, of what Our hands worked, [of] what We have made without any partner or helper, cattle, namely, camels, cows and sheep, so that they are their owners?, masters [controlling them].
