ٱلْمُدَّثِّر : ٣٧

  • لِمَن To whoever
  • شَآءَ wills
  • مِنكُمۡ among you
  • أَن to
  • يَتَقَدَّمَ proceed
  • أَوۡ or
  • يَتَأَخَّرَ stay behind
To whoever wills among you to proceed1 or stay behind.

[alike] to those of you who wish (li-man shaa'a minkum is a substitution for li'l-bashar, 'to [all] humans') to advance, towards good, or towards the Paradise by means of faith, or linger behind, in evil, or in Hell because of [their] disbelief.
