ٱلْأَعْرَاف : ١٧٠

  • وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who
  • يُمَسِّكُونَ hold fast
  • بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ to the Book
  • وَأَقَامُواْ and establish
  • ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer
  • إِنَّا indeed We
  • لَا (will) not
  • نُضِيعُ [We] let go waste
  • أَجۡرَ (the) reward
  • ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِينَ (of) the reformers
But those who hold fast to the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and establish prayer - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of the reformers.
And those who adhere (read yumassikoon or yumsikoon) to the Scripture, from among them, and have established prayer, the likes of 'Abd Allaah ibn Salaam and his companions, verily We shall not let the wages of reformers go to waste (innaa laa nudee'u ajra l-musliheen: the sentence is the predicate of alladheena, 'those who'; also there is here the replacing of the [third person] pronominalisation [alladheena, 'those who'] with an overt noun [al-musliheena, 'reformers'], in other words, their wages).
