تَأۡتِيهِم
comes to them
مِّنۡ

ءَايَةٖ
any sign
مِّنۡ

ءَايَٰتِ
(the) Signs
رَبِّهِمۡ
(of) their Lord
إِلَّا
but
كَانُواْ
they are
عَنۡهَا
from it
مُعۡرِضِينَ
turning away

Translation

But never did a single one of the signs of their Lord reach them, but they turned away therefrom.

Tafsir

Not a verse (min aaya: min introduces a relative clause) of the verses of their Lord, in Al-Qur'an, comes to them, that is, [to] the Meccans, but they turn away from it.
