مِّلَّةَ

إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفٗاۚ
a true monotheist
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
he was
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
the polytheists
قُلۡ
Say
إِنَّنِي
Indeed (as for) me
هَدَىٰنِي
has guided me
رَبِّيٓ
my Lord
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرَٰطٖ
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
straight
دِينٗا
a religion
قِيَمٗا
right
مِّلَّةَ

إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفٗاۚ
a true monotheist
وَمَا
And not

مِنَ
from
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
the polytheists

Translation

Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."
Ad

Tafsir

Say: 'As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path (ilaa siraatin mustaqeem is substituted by [the following, deenan qiyaman]) a right religion, an upright [one], the creed of Abraham, a haneef; and he was not of the idolaters'.
