(of) the right

Translation

(For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand.

Tafsir

then 'Peace be to you', that is, [then] for him there will be [peace by way of] security (salaam) from chastisement, [a greeting] from those of the right [hand], [arising] from the fact that he is one of them.
