إِن
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
your hatred
إِن
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
your hatred

Translation

If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling.

Tafsir

If He were to ask you for it, and press you, demand it persistently, you would be niggardly, and this, niggardliness, would expose your rancour, towards the religion of Islam.
