Word by Word
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
حَقَّتۡ
has been justified
كَلِمَتُ
(the) Word
رَبِّكَ
(of) your Lord
عَلَى
against
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
disbelieved
أَنَّهُمۡ
that they
أَصۡحَٰبُ
(are) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
(of) the Fire
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
حَقَّتۡ
has been justified
كَلِمَتُ
(the) Word
رَبِّكَ
(of) your Lord
عَلَى
against
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
disbelieved
أَنَّهُمۡ
that they
أَصۡحَٰبُ
(are) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
(of) the Fire

Translation

Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire!

Tafsir

And thus was the word of your Lord - namely, the verse: Assuredly I will fill Hell . [Q. 11:119] - fulfilled against those who disbelieve: that they shall be the inhabitants of the Hellfire (annahum ashaabu'l-naari substitutes for kalimatu, 'the word').
