ٱلنِّسَاء : ٥٥

  • فَمِنۡهُم Then of them
  • مَّنۡ (are some) who
  • ءَامَنَ believed
  • بِهِۦ in him
  • وَمِنۡهُم and of them
  • مَّن (are some) who
  • صَدَّ turned away
  • عَنۡهُۚ from him
  • وَكَفَىٰ and sufficient
  • بِجَهَنَّمَ (is) Hell
  • سَعِيرًا (as a) Blazing Fire
And some among them believed in it,1 and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze.

And there are some of them who believe in him, in Muhammad may peace and salutation be upon him, and some of them who bar from him, [who] reject [him] and do not believe. Hell suffices for a blaze, as a chastisement for those who do not believe.
