ٱلزُّمَر : ٥٣

  • قُلۡ Say
  • يَٰعِبَادِيَ O My slaves!
  • ٱلَّذِينَ Those who
  • أَسۡرَفُواْ have transgressed
  • عَلَىٰٓ against
  • أَنفُسِهِمۡ themselves
  • لَا (do) not
  • تَقۡنَطُواْ despair
  • مِن of
  • رَّحۡمَةِ (the) Mercy
  • ٱللَّهِۚ (of) Allah
  • إِنَّ Indeed
  • ٱللَّهَ Allah
  • يَغۡفِرُ forgives
  • ٱلذُّنُوبَ the sins
  • جَمِيعًاۚ all
  • إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
  • هُوَ He
  • ٱلۡغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving
  • ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins.1 Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Say [that God declares]: 'O My servants who have been prodigal against their own souls, do not despair (read taqnitoo, taqnatoo, or taqnutoo), do not give up hope, of God's mercy. Truly God forgives all sins, for those who repent from idolatry. Truly He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
