وَيَوۡمَ
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
He will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
all
ثُمَّ
then
يَقُولُ
He will say
لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
to the Angels
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
Were these you
إِيَّاكُمۡ
Were these you
كَانُواْ
they were
يَعۡبُدُونَ
worshipping
وَيَوۡمَ
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
He will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
all
ثُمَّ
then
يَقُولُ
He will say
لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
to the Angels
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
Were these you
إِيَّاكُمۡ
Were these you
كَانُواْ
they were
يَعۡبُدُونَ
worshipping

Translation

One Day He will gather them all together, and say to the angels, "Was it you that these men used to worship?"

Tafsir

And, mention, on the Day when He will gather them all together, namely, [all] the idolaters, He will say to the angels, 'Was it these who used to worship you?' (read a-haa'oolaa'i iyyaakum, pronouncing both hamzas, or by replacing the first with a yaa' or dropping it altogether).
