Ayah

كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ ۚ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

Translation

(Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment.<br/>

Tafsir

Their way is, as the way, as the habit, of Pharaoh's folk, and the, communities of people before them, such as 'aad and Thamood, who denied Our signs; God seized them, He destroyed them, for their sins (this statement explains the previous one); God is severe in retribution.
