ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون : ٧٧

  • حَتَّىٰٓ Until
  • إِذَا when
  • فَتَحۡنَا We opened
  • عَلَيۡهِم for them
  • بَابٗا a gate
  • ذَا of a punishment
  • عَذَابٖ of a punishment
  • شَدِيدٍ severe
  • إِذَا behold
  • هُمۡ They
  • فِيهِ in it
  • مُبۡلِسُونَ (will be in) despair
Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair.
Until (hattaa is for inceptiveness), when We opened on them the gate of a severe chastisement, namely, the day of Badr, slaying [them], behold! they are aghast thereat, despairing of anything good.
