and hinder

سَبِيلِ
(the) Path
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَيَبۡغُونَهَا
and seek in it
عِوَجًاۚ
crookedness
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
فِي
[in]
ضَلَٰلِ
(are) far astray
بَعِيدٖ
(are) far astray
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَسۡتَحِبُّونَ
love more
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
(of) the world
عَلَى

ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
the Hereafter
وَيَصُدُّونَ
and hinder

(the) Path
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَيَبۡغُونَهَا
and seek in it

crookedness
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
فِي
[in]
ضَلَٰلِ
(are) far astray
بَعِيدٖ
(are) far astray

Translation

Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.

Tafsir

those who (alladheena is a description) prefer, choose, the life of this world over the Hereafter, and bar, people, from God's way, [from] the religion of Islam, and seek to make it, that is, the path, crooked - those, they are far astray, from the truth.
