إِبْرَاهِيم : ٣

  • ٱلَّذِينَ Those who
  • يَسۡتَحِبُّونَ love more
  • ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ the life
  • ٱلدُّنۡيَا (of) the world
  • عَلَى than
  • ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ the Hereafter
  • وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder
  • عَن from
  • سَبِيلِ (the) Path
  • ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah
  • وَيَبۡغُونَهَا and seek in it
  • عِوَجًاۚ crookedness
  • أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ those
  • فِي [in]
  • ضَلَٰلِ (are) far astray
  • بَعِيدٖ (are) far astray
The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allāh, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. Those are in extreme error.
those who (alladheena is a description) prefer, choose, the life of this world over the Hereafter, and bar, people, from God's way, [from] the religion of Islam, and seek to make it, that is, the path, crooked - those, they are far astray, from the truth.
