Ayah

يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
O Ibrahim!
أَعۡرِضۡ
Turn away
عَنۡ
from
هَٰذَآۖ
this
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed it
قَدۡ
certainly
جَآءَ
has come
أَمۡرُ
(the) Command
رَبِّكَۖ
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
and indeed [they]
ءَاتِيهِمۡ
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
غَيۡرُ
(which) cannot
مَرۡدُودٖ
(be) repelled
يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
O Ibrahim!
أَعۡرِضۡ
Turn away
عَنۡ

هَٰذَآۖ
this
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed it

(the) Command
رَبِّكَۖ
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
and indeed [they]
ءَاتِيهِمۡ
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
غَيۡرُ
(which) cannot
مَرۡدُودٖ
(be) repelled

Translation

[The angels said], "O Abraham, give up this [plea]. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and indeed, there will reach them a punishment that cannot be repelled."

Tafsir

When he had pleaded with them at length, they said: 'O Abraham, desist from this, pleading. Truly your Lord's command, for their destruction, has gone forth, and truly there will come upon them a chastisement which cannot be repelled'.
