رُسُلُنَآ
Our messengers
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
with glad tidings
قَالُواْ
they said
سَلَٰمٗاۖ
Peace
قَالَ
He said
سَلَٰمٞۖ
Peace
فَمَا
and not he delayed
لَبِثَ
and not he delayed
أَن
to
جَآءَ
bring
بِعِجۡلٍ
a calf
حَنِيذٖ
roasted
وَلَقَدۡ
And certainly
جَآءَتۡ
came
رُسُلُنَآ
Our messengers
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
with glad tidings
قَالُواْ
they said
سَلَٰمٗاۖ
Peace
قَالَ
He said
سَلَٰمٞۖ
Peace
فَمَا
and not he delayed
لَبِثَ
and not he delayed
أَن
to
جَآءَ
bring
بِعِجۡلٍ
a calf
حَنِيذٖ
roasted

Translation

There came Our messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.
Ad

Tafsir

And verily Our messengers came to Abraham with good tidings, of [the birth of] Isaac and, after him, Jacoibn They said, 'Peace!' (salaaman is a verbal noun). He said, 'Peace!', be upon you, and did not delay to bring a roasted calf.
