هُود : ٣٤

  • وَلَا And (will) not
  • يَنفَعُكُمۡ benefit you
  • نُصۡحِيٓ my advice
  • إِنۡ (even) if
  • أَرَدتُّ I wish
  • أَنۡ to
  • أَنصَحَ [I] advise
  • لَكُمۡ [to] you
  • إِن if
  • كَانَ It was (Allah's)
  • ٱللَّهُ (It was) Allah's
  • يُرِيدُ will
  • أَن to
  • يُغۡوِيَكُمۡۚ let you go astray
  • هُوَ He (is)
  • رَبُّكُمۡ your Lord
  • وَإِلَيۡهِ and to Him
  • تُرۡجَعُونَ you will be returned
And my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you - if Allāh should intend to put you in error. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned."
And my counsel will not benefit you if I desire to counsel you when God desires to keep you astray (the response to the conditional is indicated by wa-laa yanfa'ukum nushee, 'and my counsel will not benefit you'). He is your Lord and to Him you will be brought back'.
