ٱلتَّكَاثُر : ٨

  • ثُمَّ Then
  • لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ surely you will be asked
  • يَوۡمَئِذٍ that Day
  • عَنِ about
  • ٱلنَّعِيمِ the pleasures
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.1

1 - i.e., the comforts of worldly life and whether you were grateful to Allāh for His blessings.
Then, on that day, the day you see it, you will assuredly be questioned (la-tus'alunna: the noon of the indicative has been omitted because of one noon coming after the other; likewise [omitted] is the waaw indicating the plural person [of the verb] because of two unvocalised consonants coming together) about the comforts [of the world], the health, leisure, security, food, drink and other things which one enjoys in this world.
