Yasin: 66

Ayah

Word by Word
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَآءُ
We willed
لَطَمَسۡنَا
We (would have) surely obliterated
عَلَىٰٓ
[over]
أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ
their eyes
فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ
then they (would) race
ٱلصِّرَٰطَ
(to find) the path
فَأَنَّىٰ
then how
يُبۡصِرُونَ
(could) they see

Translation

If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen?
