Nur Fajri Romadhon is a hafizh with exceptional skill and knowledge expertise in Quran recitation, tafsir, and Islamic law. He is a Vice Secretary of the Fatwa Methodology Commission of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (Indonesian Islamic Scholars\u2019 Council), committee member of the Fatwa Commission of Majelis Ulama Indonesia Jakarta, Majelis Tarjih & Tajdid\u2019s vice-head of Muhammadiyah in Greater Jakarta province, a director of BISA.id and a researcher at Institute for Islamic Studies and Islamic Law in Universitas Indonesia.<\/p>\n
His formal Islamic education was at bachelor\u2019s program in Islamic Law at Al-Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University and master\u2019s program in Judicial Studies at King Abdulaziz University. Informally, he has travelled in order to learn Islam in Mecca, Madinah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Buraidah, \u2018Unaizah, Islamabad, Perlis, Selangor and many places in Indonesia as well. He is now taking his other bachelor\u2019s degree in Laws at Universitas Indonesia.<\/p>\n
Beside memorizing some mutun (small books as abstracts of particular Islamic sciences) he also has sanads (certifications) of Qiraa-at Al \u2018Asyr (all 10 ways of reading Quran) which its shortest chain is 29 persons between him and the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing upon the prophet, primary books of hadith and other books. He participated in a leadership training program in the USA and a youth exchange in Australia.<\/p>\n
In addition to translating several Arabic books, among the books he has written are Quran Mapping published by Aqwam (2024), \u0100d\u0101bu Th\u0101libil \u2018Ilm (2018), Naskh in the Qur’an (2019), Sepurnama Bersama Al-Qur’an (2022), Al-Muntaqal Musfir (2023), As-Silsilatudz Dzahabiyyah f\u012b Natsrir Ra\u1e25abiyyah (2023), Al-Bulghah As-S\u0101bighah f\u012b \u2018Ul\u016bmil Bal\u0101ghah (2023), Al-Khayzur\u0101n f\u012b \u2018Ul\u016bmil Qur-\u0101n (2024), Asy-Syajarun N\u0101m\u012b f\u012b T\u0101r\u012bkhit Tasyr\u012b\u2019il Isl\u0101miyy (2024), also reviewed the text of the ‘Ilmut Tafs\u012br of Nuq\u0101yatul ‘Ul\u016bm by Al-\u1e24\u0101fidzh As-Suy\u016bthiyy (2023), became the editor of Rekonstruksi Nalar terhadap Isu-Isu Timur Tengah published by LIPI (2021) and became a co-writer for the book 80% Kosakata Al-Qur’an published by BISA (2017), Fiqh Perempuan Berkemajuan (2024) and Menafsir Ulang Problem Gender, Difabel, dan Inklusi Sosial (2025) – both published by Suara Aisyiyah.<\/p>\n
